Admissions Presentation - 3/18 @ McClelland Park Rm. 105

I am currently interning with the Program for Narrative Medicine and Health Humanities at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix. I have been collaborating with Global Medical Brigades, PSIO Ambassadors, and Women in Medicine and Science to put together an admissions outreach lecture with Mark Priolo, the Director of Admissions for the medical college. Although I have been working with these clubs specifically, we wanted to open up the event for all physiology or pre-medical students to attend. Would it be possible to send out an email blast for the event tomorrow morning? If so, I have included the details below.

The details for the event are as follows:
Hosted by: Physiology Ambassadors, Global Medical Brigades, and Women in Medicine and Science.
Where: McClelland Park Room 105
When: March 18, 5:00-6:50
What: The purpose of admissions outreach is to help students to better understand what the UA COM-Phoenix has to offer that is unique to our medical program. Just one of those things is the Certificate of Distinction in Narrative Medicine and Health Humanities, so part of the presentation will focus on defining what exactly the Health Humanities are and how we integrate that into the curriculum. The Admissions Presentation is meant to define the unique opportunities that the COM-Phoenix provides for its students to help prospective applicants better understand the longitudinal goals and expectations for future students and why the school might be a good fit for them. Mark Priolo is our Director of Admissions and Recruitment and is incredibly involved in the university's programs and the admissions process. The event will begin with his presentation, followed by a short presentation on the Narrative Medicine and Health Humanities Certificate of Distinction, and culminate in a Q&A.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about the information provided! Thank you,
