Please find below information on the 2020 Launching Your Career
Symposium and a student research showcase occurring at the annual Science and
Engineering Excellence Banquet. These are great opportunities for students
(undergraduate and graduate) to gain important professional skills and
knowledge, while building a sense of community among individuals committed to
creating diverse and inclusive STEM communities. Please share
widely with individuals who may be interested in participating.
Nominations are also currently being accepted for the 2020
Gender Equity in STEM Awards. These awards honor individuals and
groups who work to foster more diverse and inclusive STEM communities at the UA
and in the wider community. Please consider nominating someone;
nominations are accepted through December 15 and self-nominations are welcome!

from across the University and community to develop the skills and
knowledge needed to successfully launch your career. FREE professional photos,

attend, but reservations are required.
In addition to the Symposium, help us celebrate the exciting research being
done by women in STEM and allies by presenting
a poster at the annual Science and Engineering Excellence
Banquet on the evening of January 31st. Posters will be judged by a
committee of STEM professionals from industry and academia. Over $500
