Pre-Health advising center spring 2018 Updates Welcome back Wildcats! We hope the Spring semester is off to a smooth start. We have a few updates to share regarding events and opportunities for this spring and into the summer. The 2018 Health Professions Expo has a new location. Update your previous Save-the-Date information to the UA Campus Recreation Multi-Activity Court (MAC) Gym. Health professions RSVP directions Please note that each event has a separate RSVP to select and all of the events can be registered for in eSMS. The majority are found under the information session as the "type of appointment you are seeking," while the Expo is listed under "Career Fair/Event." Pre-Health Advising Center REMINDER! Deadline for Summer Study Abroad programs is February 25th.  We have a few spots left for the Global MedCats shadowing opportunities in Costa Rica and Spain. If you're planning to study abroad this summer, the application fee will be waived for students who complete an application at the Health Study Abroad Fair on Friday, February 2nd. That's an $80 savings!

Interested in Participating in a Romantic Relationship Research Study?

We are looking for romantic couples who are interested in participating in a research study taking place at the University of Arizona starting Spring 2018! An Institutional Review Board responsible for human subject’s research at the University of Arizona has reviewed this research project and found it to be acceptable, according to applicable state and federal regulations and University policies designed to protect the rights and welfare of participants in research.

What can you gain?

·         Money $$$ for your participation.

·         Assist researchers to identify important emotional patterns for prevention and interventions to assist romantic couples.

Help contribute to the scientific body of knowledge on close relationships.

 Requirements

1.     Complete a 3-5 minute online prescreening survey.

2.     Must be 18 years or older.

3.     Both you and your romantic partner agree to participate.

Both you and your romantic partner are available to attend a couple’s lab meeting.
