PHYSICAL THERAPY TECHNICIAN POSITION

 Join our team in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy practice in NW Tucson. We are integrative, offering additions of a Yoga Movement Studio and focus on wellness.
As a physical therapy technician, you are supporting the needs of the physical therapists and physical therapy assistants in the clinic by calling patients into the gym, working hands on with patients throughout their exercises, performing modalities and tapings, and maintaining a clean and flowing clinic.
At this clinic, your position sets you up to make you most knowledgeable and prepared for graduate school. This position is geared to prepare you for becoming a PT, PTA, OT, or any other relative professional. You will get to learn the different rolls of PT, PTA and OT while also having the chance to sit through their continuing education courses and meetings that are not usually acceptable until post grad school. Their opportunity of learning what goes on in the administrative and back offices are available too.
This is a full-time position that requires availability from 6:30 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Thursday, or 6:30 AM to 6 PM Fridays. Benefits include Medical, Vison and Dental insurance and 401 k and six paid holidays. Benefits also include quarterly employee wellness, free of charge. Wellness includes massage, Pilates and Yoga. These services are available anytime for 50% off the regular price. Also, all studio classes are free.

Summer Internship/Research Program

 

 

Are you interested in assisting with a research project? 

 

Objective of the Orthopaedic Outcomes Internship Program: The objective of the Orthopaedic Outcomes Internship Program (OOIP) is to provide students with the opportunity to assist with the collection of sensor data for ascertaining functional outcomes and survey data for ascertaining patient-reported outcomes, to introduce the skills required to conduct clinical research, and to provide an opportunity to preview and/or propose program evaluations, quality initiatives, and/or research projects in which these skills could be utilized.
