Visual Perception Lab – Call for Participants!

Participants are needed for research studies testing how people perceive the visual world.  Adults 18 – 30 years of age with normal or corrected to normal vision may be eligible. Participation takes 30 minutes and involves looking at a computer screen and making judgments about what you see. You will be compensated for your time. If you would like more information, or would like to participate, please email visionlab@email.arizona.edu.

 

An Institutional Review Board responsible for human subjects research at The University of Arizona reviewed this research project and found it to be acceptable, according to applicable state and federal regulations and University policies designed to protect the rights and welfare of participants in research.

Student Volunteers Needed in Bailey Lab

STUDENT VOLUNTEER NEEDED IN THE BAILEY LAB!

 

The Bailey Lab is looking for a motivated undergraduate student to assist in the creation and maintenance of our laboratory Facebook page! The Facebook page will center on our NIH clinical trial, which explores the effects of a novel breathing training in adults with sleep apnea and hypertension. a Professional Science Master’s degree in APPLIED BIOSCIENCES!

 Applied Biosciences, Professional Science Master’s Description:


The Professional Science Masters (PSM) in Applied Biosciences is designed to prepare students to enter a competitive, scientific workforce. The Applied Biosciences program consists of foundational and practical training in various areas of applied biosciences and along with a professional component that includes internships and "cross-training" in workplace skills, such as business, communications, and regulatory affairs.

During the two-year course of study, students will gain a strong understanding of the applications of the biological sciences to real world problems, including those faced by public institutions and private industry. As an interdisciplinary program, students can customize and design their curriculum to suit their goals and needs, under the supervision of their advisor.

The Applied Biosciences program is divided into specialized tracks or sub-plans; students apply to and pursue studies within one of these tracks below.
