Pre-Health Students CAN Study Abroad!

Pre-Health Students!

Please join us at a browse session during the lunch hour on Friday, January 22nd, 2016 in the Office of Student Engagement in the Student Union (Main Floor-large meeting room, near CORE).  It can be hard to figure out how to complete all the requirements and co-curricular activities before you apply to health professional programs, but it is NOT impossible!  You can combine clinical experience with study abroad, take classes toward a major or minor, learn about a different culture and grow as a person.  Here’s what Tanisha Price-Johnson, the Director of Admissions at The University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson says:

“As you prepare to apply to medical school, consider participating in a global health experience. These types of programs expose you to public health care, global health disparities, and provide hands-on experience working with diverse populations while building your medical knowledge.”

When:   January 22nd, 11:30AM to 2 PM—Stop in when you can!
Where:  Student Union, Office of Student Engagement Meeting Room (near CORE)
Organized by:
Pre-Health Professions Advising Center
Study Abroad Office
With:
Public Health Advising
Nutritional Sciences Advising
Global Studies Advising
