My
name is Bianca Duarte. I am a UofA graduate and premed student. I was hoping to
reach out to Physiology students interested in volunteering.
I
am one of the University of Arizona Sarver Heart Center volunteers. We travel
across southern Arizona teaching CCO (chest compression only) CPR. Our team
strives to reach even the most underserved communities. CCO CPR classes are
offered at no cost to participants. They are much shorter than traditional CPR
classes, and participants still get hands on experience on mannequins.
We
also have opportunities for bilingual students who wish to join our Spanish
team that focuses on reaching out to Hispanic communities. As such, these
classes are taught exclusively in Spanish!
