Foreign Language Area Studies Fellowships (FLAS) Summer 2020

Good afternoon. It is that time of year again. If you study Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, or Turkish and are looking for a way to fund an intensive summer language program or your next academic year of study, a Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship might be the right opportunity for you. Please join me in an informational session on Foreign Language Area Studies Fellowships (FLAS). FLAS fellowships are available for UA undergraduate and graduate students interested in studying one of the aforementioned languages during summer 2020 or the 2020-2021 academic year. The informational session will be held in the CMES library, Marshall 476 on Tuesday, January 21st from 12:30-2PM Arizona time and will also be available by Zoom.

The deadline to apply for FLAS fellowships for either the academic year or summer is Monday, February 17 at noon Tucson time.
