Internship & Scholarship Opportunity for Students - Washington, D.C.
Looking for a summer internship?
Did you know there are opportunities to
live in Washington, D.C., do an internship, and earn academic credit? The Washington
Center is an educational non-profit we work with who provides an academic internship
experience in the nation’s capital. Their mission is to help you launch a career you’ll love through
their one-of-a-kind program. Students are hand-matched to internships in the metropolitan area
and receive tailored advice and guidance throughout their
time in the capital. Internship runs
May 30 – August 1.
The Washington Center is currently
accepting applications for summer 2020. The University of Arizona has 10 scholarships available
for the program fee and housing worth $12,090.
To apply for this scholarship and
internship experience:
You must be a sophomore, junior, or
senior (not graduating before December 2020) who is 18+ years of age and in good academic
standing. You must be able to receive academic credit for the program and maintain a GPA of 2.75 or
higher.
Step 1: Apply directly
to The Washington Center (twc.edu). Acceptance to TWC doesn’t guarantee a scholarship award. Use the
code APPLY2020 to waive the $60 fee.
Step 2: Apply for the
scholarship via Handshake (bit.ly/37Nb6iP) once your TWC app has been accepted.
Deadline to
apply for both is March 18.
