American Medical Women’s Association

The University of Arizona now has a branch of the
American Medical Women’s Association
The AMWA is an organization which functions at the local, national, and international level to advance women in medicine and improve women’s health.
There are soooo many reasons to join such as:
·         Career Development
·         Networking
·         Mentoring
·         Community
·         Being a part of a nationally recognized organization
·         And so many more!!

Be some of the first to be a part of the Pre-Medical Branch of AMWA at UA
We are excited to find eager, compassionate STEM women who believe women’s advocacy is important.

Our club consists of amazing guest speakers, volunteering, mentoring and great connections. This semester we have many events planned with the AMWA branch of the UA Med School. We plan on having monthly meetings with them where you can meet and learn from students currently in medical school. We host bi-weekly meetings on Wednesdays from 6-7 that are currently located in the Silverbell room of La Paz.

We are very excited for another great semester of AMWA with amazing events planned!
