There is still time to Register for the 2018 Design Thinking Challenge!



An opportunity for students to participate in the 2018 Design Thinking Challenge- Accelerating Change: From Consuming to Conserving. Registration closes next week. Please see the email below and attachments to share with your students + networks.  

We are also hosting drop-in info sessions tonight and tomorrow for students to stop by and learn more:

·         Tuesday, Feb. 6th from 5-6pm in the Office of Student Engagement, SUMC Room 248
·         Wednesday, Feb 7th from 4-5pm in the Student Engagement and Career Development office, SUMC Room 411

THE CHALLENGE
Design Thinking offers a new way of seeing, understanding and operating in the world.
Through this Design Thinking Challenge you can:
• learn more about design thinking
• gain experience working on a team
• gain experience solving complex problems
The best part? These are the types of experiences future employers want to college
graduates to have.

UA Facilities Management would like to develop a marketing behavioral campaign to
gauge and raise UA community awareness and concern for energy efficiency around
campus. The winning Design Team will develop a series of campaign materials that can
be utilized by Facilities Management to influence changes in energy consumption
behaviors on campus in cooperation with other UA entities and stakeholders identified
by both Facilities Management and the Design Teams.
Consider creating a team of people who have different majors and areas of expertise
than your own. Don’t have team? You can sign up by yourself or with a friend. open to
all degree seeking undergraduate and graduate students; all majors. The top teams will
earn prizes!
