Information about our Concussion Study recruitment for the upcoming fall semester.

To give you a brief overview of the study:

The Concussion Study-- a one-day study that involves neuropsychological assessments along with a brain scan. We are looking for individuals ages 18-45 who had a head injury or concussion in the past year.  They must have no metal in their body, and speak English as a primary language.

An Institutional Review Board responsible for human subjects research at The University of Arizona reviewed this research project and found it to be acceptable, according to applicable state and federal regulations and University policies designed to protect the rights and welfare of participants in research.

We have an immediate opening for a Part-time Medical Scribe and/or Transcriptionist to support a busy Orthopedic Surgeon.  We are currently seeking an energetic and positive individual for accurate scribing into the electronic medical record during clinic visits. NextGen experience would be a BIG plus, but we are willing to train if applicant has other EHR experience. 

Scribe would work side-by-side with the Surgeon, and accompany him in the exam room with the patient.  

Applicant must have efficient computer and typing skills, accurate spelling and grammar, and a fundamental knowledge of medical terminology.  

Current part-time hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00am – 5:00pm (lunch hour depends on flow of patient schedule and patient requirements).  

Position pays $10.50 - $11.50 / hour.
