 Fall Semester - Part Time

Great Experience for Those in Healthcare-Related Fields

* Help needed Weekday and/or Weekend mornings to assist a 54yo male with a disability (spinal cord
injury/paralysis as a teen) in getting out of bed regularly for an ongoing period of time beginning for
Fall Semester, 2021. I prefer to begin at 7:00-8:00am on weekdays and weekends (or some holidays).
Can be used to help supplement your normal income and/or heathcare work experience.
* Total time each morning approx. 1:45 hrs once the routine is learned.
* Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated. Wife and I are both vaxxed as of mid-March.
* We don't smoke. We do have 2 dogs who are very friendly once they know somebody.
* Live a few blocks south of downtown Tucson between Broadway & 22nd Sts. Short drive from UofA
My primary daily needs are:
* bathing (in bed),
* getting dressed,
* disconnecting/reconnecting catheter (*NOT* changing the catheter itself),
* full-assist standing pivot transfer from bed to a wheelchair, (we do not use a Hoyer lift),
* adjusting clothes and repositioning person in wheelchair for comfort & safety,
* some very basic (mix & microwave) breakfast preparation

About Me:
* I'm only 54 yrs old, been married almost 30 yrs, and have had my disability since an accident as a
teen. I'm pretty easy going, college educated, a recently retired high school biology teacher, and like
to talk & joke around. I tend to get along with almost anybody. I live in the downtown Tucson area.
