Spring 2018 Public Health courses with seats available to you



Public Health has opened enrollment for several of our popular courses to students from ANY major (this open enrollment is during the spring term only; the courses remain restricted to public health students during the fall term). Feel free to share with students you think may be interested.

Courses open to all students during the Spring 2018 term:
  • HPS 200-001 (50345) “Introduction to Public Health” – The main campus section is available to students from any major, and is being taught on Mon/Wed from 4-5:15p
  • EPID 309-002 (93504) “Introduction to Epidemiology” – The second section is available to students from any major, and is being taught on Tues/Thurs from 12:30-1:45p.
  • HPS 306-001 (50115) “Drugs and Society” – The main campus section is available to students from any major, and is being taught on Tu/Thur from 11a-12:15p
  • HPS 330 (50347) “Human Sexuality” – The main campus section is available to students from any major, and is being taught on Tu/Thur from 2-3:15p
 As a reminder, the following courses are General Education courses, so they are always open to students from every major:
  • PHPM 310-001 (50346) “Health Care in the US” – The Tier II Individuals and Societies course is being taught on Tu/Thur from 4-5:15p
  • HPS 387-001 (50293) “Health Disparities & Minority Health” – The Tier II Individuals and Societies (Diversity Emphasis) lecture is being taught on Mon/Wed from 11-11:50a with Friday discussion options
