GLOBAL OUTREACH ASSISTANT


Have what it takes to represent Arizona and to recruit future Global Wildcats? Do you have a strong sense of UA pride? Are you looking for an engaging on-campus job? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should consider working as a Global Outreach Assistant with the Office of International Admissions! Our Global Outreach Assistants work with prospective international students to share information and application updates along their journey of becoming an Arizona Wildcat.

Duties will include
·         Outreaching to prospective students and families through a variety of mediums, including social media, email, telephone, and text messaging.
·         Serving as a first point of contact for the Office of International Admissions and the University of Arizona by providing the highest level of customer service to recruit future Wildcats.
·         Conducting quality assurance checks of email communications sent from the Admission Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
·         Assisting in project management of Admissions communication plans.
·         Researching competitor schools’ website and publications.
·         Tracking key performance indicators for email communications.
·         Other duties as assigned.

Global Outreach Assistants are …
·         Full-time undergraduate students with a strong sense of UA pride and a willingness to share that pride with prospective UA Global Wildcats and their families.
·         Detail-oriented.
·         Willing to help when needed.
·         Able to pick up new concepts quickly.

·         Greater knowledge of recruitment practices in international education.
·         A basic understanding of marketing and communications in a higher education setting.
·         An ability to identify key messages based on unique audiences.
·         Verbal and written communication skills.
·         Organizational skills.
·         A basic understanding of the Admissions CRM, Slate.

Hours:
The hours for this position are flexible, and up to 12 hours per week during the semester. We will work with you to accommodate the times you are available Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
