I
am the Program Coordinator for the Take Charge Cats Program, housed in the
Norton School of Family and Consumer Sciences. We are a team of 11
undergraduate students that come from a variety of majors. Our Take
Charge Cats are trained in personal finance topics and presentation skills and
go out and teach workshops to middle school, high school, and college students.
That
being said, we are currently
hiring student workers for Take Charge Cat Ambassador positions with a start
date of Fall 2019.
We are primarily seeking freshmen,
sophomores, and juniors from all majors. This position is an amazing way for
students to gain leadership and public speaking skills, as well as learn and
teach about financial literacy in our community and on campus. We are
looking for students who have a passion about making an impact and who are
outgoing, committed and self-motivated.
