The deadline for the UROC year-round program is Nov. 1st. Students have a 2:1 chance of acceptance. Did you know that undergraduate research is considered a high-impact, transformative learning experience? According to the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR), undergraduate research:
- Enhances student learning through mentoring relationships with faculty
- Increases retention, enrollment in graduate education and effective career preparation
- Develops critical thinking, creativity, problem solving and intellectual independence
- Develops an understanding of research methodology
- Promotes an innovation-oriented culture

Social Behavioral Sciences, Education, etc.

just a summer program! (that deadline is Feb. 1)
- UROC-PREP/STAR is a year-round,
open to all majors, that provides access to research & grad school
application services
§ UROC seeks students who are
sincerely interested in research and/or graduate school:
- juniors or seniors, with a 3.00 GPA or above, from
groups underrepresented in higher education
- we are not a good fit for students interested in
professional programs such as law, medicine, business
