Seeking a Student Lab Assistant

My name is Catherine Vasquez and I am the Research Specialist for Dr. Jil Tardiff's lab. We are currently seeking a Student Lab Assistant and was wondering if we could advertise our job posting with the Physiology undergraduate students. This is a work study position and job has been posted in Handshake via The University of Arizona.

Description:
The Tardiff Laboratory is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated student to help in the maintenance of the lab. The main duties of the student include cleaning, autoclaving laboratory equipment, and organizing labware in its designated areas. Additional duties may include: solution making, adjusting the pH of solutions, assisting in genotyping data, making SDS-Page Acrylamide gels, and making agar plates for protein expression and purification.
Additional duties may be assigned if student has demonstrated an ambition for research and has shown competence in their work.

Trainings: Biosafety and Chemical Trainings will be required.
