Come join us in our efforts in Cuenca, Ecuador this coming Spring Break during the week of March
11-19th! Cuenca is a beautiful colonial
city in the Andes Mountains. GSE's Cuenca program focuses on working with local
schools to create community gardens to create food security for the students
and the community.
There is room for 15 folks, so sign up now while there
are still spots!
Briefly, the trip will allow you to:.
(1) Build a bio-intensive, demonstration
farm with Global Student Embassy (www.globalstudentembassy.org).
(2) Help develop
and implement a public
health survey to
evaluate perceptions of agriculture, nutrition and health.
(3) Explore the
beauty of the land of lakes, beaches and volcanoes in Ecuador.
