As a member
of The University of Arizona Red Cross Club, you will have access to plenty of
opportunities to better yourself. Events including first aid and CPR
certification, blood drive recruitment, hands on volunteer work in the local
community and more will all be held!
Description: The Red Cross Club focuses on the 5 pillars of
the American Red Cross in order to promote awareness and alleviate human
suffering where and when possible. The club also participates in local disaster
relief efforts throughout the year. Many of our club efforts are to
promote blood donations and awareness associated with the need for blood in the
Southern Arizona Region. By becoming an active member of the UA Red Cross
Club you will become a registered volunteer with the local Red Cross Chapter.
Each month our club holds blood drives, awareness tabling on the mall,
fun socials, fundraisers and a number of volunteering events to keep members
engaged and involved.
Meetings: Every Monday at 5pm in Campus Health D304
(9/11, 9/18, 9/25)
**There will be opportunities for new members to
gain leadership positions**
This club is open to all majors and years.
If you cannot attend meetings you can still become an active member in
the club.
