Academic Aide

Disability Resources is currently recruiting for an Academic Aide Mondays and Wednesdays 9:30 – 10:45.  Pay is $8.05/hour. Starting date is Monday, August 22 and will go through the Fall semester.   Duties are to act as a “scribe” for a student who has  limited hand function.  The student is enrolled in Math 100—002, which is a combination of on-line and in-person instruction.  During the virtual classroom meetings, students work in small groups with their TA to work through math problems using digital writing instruments.   The person selected for this Academic Aide position will write out the math problems under the direction of the disabled student.
