Disability Resources (DRC) is
seeking to hire a graduate student intern to launch a new
project to ensure Campus events and engagement opportunities are welcoming and
accessible to all students and guests. The intern will oversee a team of 4
undergraduate interns, under the direction of the Program Coordinator, to
support UA’s recent 100% Engagement initiative.
Duties include assessing Campus
spaces and programs and working with DRC in the lead-up and execution
of UA sponsored events such as theTucson Festival of Books, Spring
Fling, Commencement, and Convocations, among others. You will
also aid in the development of resources to educate event planners and Campus
faculty on how to maximize access and inclusion across all their efforts.
Position will require an average of
5-10
hrs/week.
