2016 UAHS CLARION Case Competition
Application deadline: Friday, Jan. 29, 2016, 10:00am
The University of Arizona Health Sciences (UAHS) will hold its first annual local CLARION Case Competition on Thursday, March 10, 2016.
The competition will include teams of four students, with at least two different disciplines
represented. Student teams are given a fictitious, yet very realistic, complicated case and
are charged with creating a root cause analysis. Student teams will have several weeks to
prepare their analysis. Teams will be randomly assigned.
At the UAHS local CLARION Case
Competition, each team will present their analysis to a panel of
interprofessional judges that evaluates each team's presentation,
analysis, and recommendations in the context of real-world standards of
practice.
UA health professions students as well as law students are invited to apply for the competition.
