What is Vive Peru? Vive Peru is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering an understanding of Latin American and Peruvian culture as well as providing much--‐ needed aid to Peruvian communities. Read more about us on our website at www.viveperu.org.

 What will you get with Vive Peru? A professional internship experience in your area of interest while giving back to local communities in Peru! We have staff on the ground year--‐ round. In addition, we only work in Northern Peru, so our programs are developed with the local culture and realities in mind. With us, you’ll get an immersive cultural and Spanish language experience by living with a host family and working in with local Peruvian professionals in clinics, hospitals, schools, and orphanages. On weekends you will also have the opportunity to travel around to visit other Peruvian cities and see all the wonderful fair Peru has to offer! You can even take a trip to visit one of the historic site of Machu Picchu!

What does it cost? The program costs $1,800. This fee covers all of your housing, food, transportation in Peru, staff support and supplies during the program dates.
