I'm near 50 yrs
old, been married 20+ yrs, and have had my spinal cord injury since my
teens. I'm pretty easy going, college educated (UA grad) , and like to
talk & joke around. I tend to get along with almost anybody.
I'm in the downtown Tucson area, 10-15 minutes from UA, St. Mary's Hospital
& VA Hospital.
We don't
smoke. We do have 2 dogs who are very friendly

I can accept
one person for all hours or one person for mornings, another for evenings.

routine is learned. Usually takes 2 hrs as we're just getting started and
getting to know how each other works. I'd like to find someone who can start
anytime between 7 and 9:00am weekend
mornings.
Primary morning
needs are:
* bathing (in
bed),
* dressing,
*
disconnecting/reconnecting catheter (*NOT* changing a catheter itself)
* full-assist
standing pivot transfer from bed to a wheelchair, I don’t weigh much
* adjusting
clothes and repositioning person in wheelchair for comfort & safety,
* some very basic
breakfast preparation
Sunday and
Wednesday nights for
bowel care (mostly for experienced applicants). at 7:00pm for approx. 2.5 hrs.
Times are
short but pay can be useful to help supplement your normal income.
